With the development of flexible display technology, flexible screens are increasingly used in terminal devices. In order to maintain the flatness and rigidity of foldable terminal flexible screen screens, under screen support structures are usually set up to ensure that the screen can be bent and has sufficient support.
Considering the bendability of foldable screens, early screen support plates were not a single piece, but were divided into two pieces with a certain gap between them in the bending zone, resulting in the screen in the gap not receiving effective support and causing creases. To solve this problem, a bending area is usually processed in the middle of the flexible support plate. The bending area is perforated through chemical etching or laser processing, which can effectively release stress and reduce the weight of the support plate, thereby reducing the overall weight of the machine.
The foldable screen support plate should be as thin as possible, with sufficient strength, rigidity, and bendability, and the material should be non-magnetic to avoid screen touch function failure, which has extremely high requirements for material performance.
